? Profile

When our skin and underlying tissues feel pressure greater than about five grams, or the weight of a nickel, our nervous system chooses to resist the force as a method of protection.

For this reason, CranioSacral Therapy uses a touch less than five grams in order to blend with and engage the soft tissue to assist your body's own self-healing mechanisms.

At this light touch, I can feel the craniosacral rhythm, which is the gentle movement of the cerebrospinal fluid as it moves in and around the brain and spinal cord. I use this rhythm, along with other techniques, to assess areas of stagnation.

Once blended and connected, I follow where your body leads. With this gentle facilitation, your body will release areas of restriction in the soft tissue. This includes fascia, the connective tissue in and around muscle, and the dura, the membranes surrounding the brain and spinal cord.

As connective tissue and membranes release, they soften and become more pliable which allows for more effective functioning of your brain and spinal nerves. When our central nervous system is functioning better, we feel better.

My intention is to support your body-mind-spirit so that you may function at your greatest potential.

"I was suffering from chronic lower back pain so a coworker suggested I try craniosacral therapy with Jennifer. I was skeptical a light-touch approach would help my pain because previously the only type of massage I found affective was deep-tissue. However, the light-touch was instrumental in helping my muscles relax. It was during my first session that my body started to learn how to let go of its pain. Once my body began releasing energy my mind followed and Jennifer became an integral part of"   more...

"Jennifer Miller took a postpartum doula workshop that I taught and I was impressed with her sincere interest in educating herself, she took the workshop seriously and contributed pertinent information as it related to her field. During that workshop and in subsequent dealings with her I have admired her desire to do her work with accuracy, intuition and the proper education, along with the uncommon blend of compassion. She falls in love with the children she treats. Jennifer is very committed "   more...

The feelings you get sends a almost orgasmic sensation through your body with the slightest touch from her. Oh yea you will dose out and start dreaming(if you call that) which is a good thing she says. Not only will you get excellent healing ther"   more...

"My boyfriend brought me in for a massage with Jen a few years ago and the experience changed my life in many ways. It was the first time I'd experienced what a truly dedicated and gifted massage therapist, or more appropriately, a healing artist, is capable of. She is fluent in languages of body, mind, spirit, and energy. She brings her love and light to the process and journey of every client. Her thoughtful guidance and mesmerizingly intuitive friendship has inspired my path and fortified "   more...

"I first met Jennifer Miller in 1999. She was hired to the investment banking firm I worked for as assistant to the CEO. Jen was hand picked for the job by her predecessor, a wickedly smart Wharton Business School MBA who had practically run the company herself. Jen accepted the position and took on her responsibilities without skipping a beat.

Shortly after Jen joined the firm, the company ran into some unexpected financial trouble that would lead to its demise before the next year ended. Th"   more...
