Here are some questions I often receive concerning education:
What did you study? European History? What can you do with that, teach?
I attended the Honors College of Florida Atlantic University in Jupiter, Florida where I studied European History. Having a liberal arts degree is actually more useful than you might first imagine. I am the communications specialist at iKarma, and while I hope one day to head back to school and study law, maybe even dabble a little more in history and grab a masters, I feel comfortable knowing that there are still people out there that see the value in a liberal arts degree. While there is still much to be worked out in life, a few things are certain in my mind, I like to read, write, and see the result of whatever I do as being beneficial to some greater good. While no one likes to work for no reason at all, I seem especially susceptible to unease if my work contributes to nothing.
