As a graduate of one of the leading residency programs in psychiatry, I provide high quality care to patients with a wide range of psychiatric issues -- from patients in need of intensive therapy, medications, and other integrated services, to highly functioning, successful individuals interested in exploring their issues and reaching their potential. As an MD, I am equipped to look at biological contributions, psychological dynamics, and social factors that may be influencing a person's life. I believe that by addressing these three spheres in an integrated way, patients have the best chance of moving forward in their lives.
While I can provide both psychotherapy and medication management, I routinely see patients for medications alone who are already been seen by a therapist they know and trust. I believe in close collaboration with other treating professionals, and will work with other therapists to provide the best integrated care possible.
I run essentially a concierge style practice, where I am available to my patients 24/7 via phone or e-mail, and with additional in-person appointments between visits if necessary. I find being available to patients an important component of helping them deal with relevant issues in their lives.
