Water for LIFE
Hi and welcome to my Website. I am Dr. Billi Dixon and I have been involved in Ministry Outreach over 40 years.
On April 2, 2004 I was conferred Doctor of Divinity by the Church of England's Universal Church Ministries School of Theology for meritorious recognition in Christian Ministry Outreach Service.
I am currently the Director and CEO of Global Village International Outreach Ministries.
LIFE ALERT •
Global Village International Outreach Ministries, is a mission-minded outreach, non-profit organization committed to assisting various humanitarian efforts philanthropically throughout the world.
A major fundraising project that we are currently involved with is Life Outreach International as seen on TV. Their Mission: Water for LIFE has now become MISSION CRITICAL! Water is desperately needed, and clean water means life!
Global Village International is partnering with Life Outreach International in an all out effort to provide fresh drinking water. Two hundred villages have been targeted to receive a new water well – each in an area of urgent need.
First, provide water purification equipment, food and other relief to areas hit hard by the tsunami. We’ve sent one shipment, but we must do more. We know we can’t meet all the needs, but we can do our part in this global effort. The fact that former opponents President Bush and President Clinton are now joining hands to reach out to those who are suffering should serve as an inspiration to us all.
Our work is in “word and deed,” so you must know that with our aid, we will be sharing the good news of Christ the Cross and His love with those who are suffering.
Second, join us to drill 200 new water wells this year in Africa where contaminated water is taking lives each day. Please understand – unrelated to the tsunami, more than 320,000 people will die from a water related sickness this month alone.
We at Global Village International ask you to extend your compassion and participate in this worthwhile global effort.
The tsunami has claimed the lives of more than 150,000 people. But please remember – contaminated, disease – ridden water claims the lives of more than 320,000 people each month. Water is life, and I ask you to join me in this dual effort to demonstrate God’s love to people in need.
