Massey Haraguchi is a dedicated and passionate graphic artist who is currently a manager of the graphics and web department for The Walking Company. Haraguchi’s commitment to his job has remained constant over the last four years and has helped improve his sense of creativity and innovation.
Haraguchi extends his dedication to the field of design by attending classes at Santa Barbara City College in an effort to obtain his Graphic Design Certificate. Haraguchi displays his extensive talents in print design, web design, photography, and motion graphics through his personal website, MasseyStudios.com. Prior to his entrance into the city college, Massey Haraguchi earned his B.A. in Art Studio from University of California, Santa Barbara in 2002.
Mr. Haraguchi made his first solid step towards a design career when he became a marketing associate for Motion Engineering Inc. At Motion Engineering, Mr. Haraguchi created and edited many products and projects which impacted the company's image immensely. Haraguchi expanded his talents by moving to Superconductor Technologies as a graphic and web designer. Haraguchi took on a great deal of responsibility, designing, redesigning, and producing the company’s website, corporate identity, and advertising efforts.
Mr. Massey Haraguchi holds a wide variety of computer software knowledge ranging from Adobe Creative Suite 3 including expert knowledge in Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, as well as web programs - Adobe Flash and Dreamweaver. Haraguchi is a Mac lover at heart and is using his Mac tools to pursue a new found passion for photography.
Haraguchi never limits his range of creativity and has expanded his design skills to include retail store signage such as posters, signs, catalogs, and other important marketing collateral to maintain a high quality company image.
Massey knows the importance of community involvement and participates in several charities and philanthropic organizations, including American Red Cross, Environment California, and the YMCA. Outdoor activities keep Haraguchi's creative juices flowing, and he actively plays tennis, soccer, as well as surfing and running.
