 Profile
Dr. Timothy Wasmund grew up locally in the metro Detroit area. He is a graduate of Adlai E. Stevenson High School in Sterling Heights, MI. After High School he attended University of Detroit Mercy, receiving a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology. He then went on to peruse a degree in Chiropractic Medicine at National University of Health Sciences (NUHS). While attending NUHS Dr. Wasmund not only received his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree but also a second Bachelors of Science in Human Biology, a certification in hypnotherapy through the National Guild of Hypnotist, certificates in acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), certification in Cox® Decompression Adjustment & Manipulation Technique, and a certification as a Reiki Master/Teacher.
During his experiences at NUHS Dr. Wasmund has engaged himself into the most diverse experience possible. He served as a primary care physician at the university’s clinic system and in the Salvation Army Rehabilitation Program in Chicago, IL. Then he was one of the few chosen to participate in an internal medicine rotation at a Graduate Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. He finished up his last four months of training in a private practice in the suburbs of Chicago.
Dr. Wasmund is dedicated to using his diverse background to deliver the highest level of quality alternative and holistic therapies while communicating and cooperating with traditional medical doctors and other health care professionals to maintain the optimum health and well being of the patients he serves.
Dedicated to the metro Detroit area, Dr. Wasmund continues to contribute to the community through out reach programs. As well as being a volunteer coach for the Utica High School wrestling team.
