As Director of Cardiopulmonary Services for Monroe County Hospital, Dr. Carole Lane ensures that patients receive the highest quality medical attention while staying in hospital. An experienced Echocardiographer, Dr. Carole Lane has spent over 18 years interpreting Cardiac Echocardiography for Monroe and surrounding counties, and is regarded as an expert in the field. Dr. Carole Lane began her medical career studying Internal Medicine and received intensive training at the Heart Station during her residency. A practicing Dermatologist, Dr. Carole Lane oversees the diagnosis, treatment and surgical excision of skin cancers and other Dermatological conditions and specializes in identifying and removing cancerous growths on her patients. Dr. Carole Lane is also the Vice President of Lane Medical Group and constantly strives to improve the quality and efficacy of her care.
Dr. Carole Lane is currently a member of the Medical Executive Committee for the Monroe County Hospital and is also the treasurer of the respected group. Carole Lane is a member of the Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery, as well as the American Society of Echocardiography and American Society of Dermatology. She is also affiliated with the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Carole Lane has recently been published in the Journal of Infectious Disease and has also written papers for the Center for Disease Control. She regularly reads the latest medical journals to keep informed of the latest medical practices.
A compassionate and charitable doctor, Carole Lane works with St. Jude's Childrens Hospital and also has donated to the American Cancer Society and the Alzheimer's Research Fund.
A graduate of the University of Alabama in Birmingham, Carole Lane lives and works in Alabama.
