Don has over 30 years experience as an executive, manager, publisher and business owner. Don joined the team at in 1992 as the first executive director of the Government Technology Executive Forums. Government Technology is a division of e.Republic, Inc., a California-based integrated media company focused on the strategic use of information technology in the public sector.
Since 1999, Don has been Group Publisher for the Government Technology Publications division of e.Republic, where he oversees the focus and direction of its stable of print and web publications as well as sales, marketing and custom events delivery. In his role as Group Publisher, he is often called upon as a recognized thought-leader and frequent presenter concerning the strategic use of information technology in assisting governments to address the mission-critical problems they face. Don is also Executive Vice President for e.Republic.
His educational background includes graduating cum laude and receiving his master's degree with distinction from California State University at Fresno. He studied as an undergraduate student at Heidelberg University, and as a graduate student at the University of Paris, Sorbonne, receiving a Graduate Fellowship from the Rotary Foundation International.
