Emmanuel Arroyo studied Acupuncture and Herbs at the New York College of Health Professions in Syosset, Long Island, New York obtaining a Master in Oriental Medicine and a Bachelor in Science and is certified by the NCCAOM as an Oriental Medicine Diplomate and Herbalist; Emmanuel Arroyo has been able to expand his certifications to include Opthalmic Acupuncture, Cosmetic Acupuncture, Detoxification as Treatment,Trigger Point/Myofascial Dry Needling Acupuncture Technique, Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist (from NADA),The Balancing Method and Iridology.
On May 22nd, 2008, Emmanuel Arroyo discussed at WADO 1280 AM radio station what acupuncture is and its benefits.
5 months later on September 17, 2008, Emmanuel Arroyo joined Vision Urbana Inc and presented their community with information on how acupuncture works and its benefits; after September, Halloween was the big topic during the month of Ocotber but not at Columbia University in New York where Emmanuel Arroyo presented the IPR/HE (Institute for the Puerto Rican/Hispanic Elderly, Inc) community information on Chinese Medicine's history and philosophy and advices on what to eat according to the 5 elements theory.
