A graduate of the Western State University College of Law and the University of California, Berkeley, Mr. Stan Bent has been a licensed attorney for more than 20 years. Experienced in all aspects of civil litigation, Stan Bent also maintains expertise in bankruptcy law, estate law, and business law in his general practice. Currently, Stan Bent serves as Managing Attorney and Owner of H. S. Bent & Associates in Newport Beach, California.

Through his private practice, Stan Bent offers a wide range of legal services, including contract formation, leases, employment agreements, debt counseling and negotiation, wills, living trusts, physician directives, and other common legal needs. Stan Bent established H. S. Bent & Associates in 1993. Prior to founding H. S. Bent & Associates, Stan Bent served as Managing Attorney and Co-owner of the Law Office of Parks & Bent in Santa Ana, California.
While at the Western State University College of Law, Stan Bent distinguished himself as a thoughtful legal scholar and dedicated student. A recipient of the James Brower Achievement Award, Stan Bent also earned a spot in the 1987 edition of Who’s Who in American Universities and Colleges. After graduating from law school and passing the Bar, Stan Bent joined a small law firm in Costa Mesa, California. which specialized in the areas of personal injury litigation, medical malpractice law, and business litigation.
A charitable individual, Stan Bent actively supports a number of non-profit organizations, including the Surfrider Foundation, the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), and Community Conservancy International.
