Dr. Peter Zahos’ long experience in neurosurgery began after he received his MD at George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. Since earning his degree, Dr, Zahos has worked in surgical neuro-oncology, minimally invasive spine surgery, and movement dissorder surgery,
Several past consulting relationships with corporations such BrainLAB, Varian Medical Systems, Integra Lifesciences and Guilford Pharmaceuticals have deepened Dr. Zahos’ familiarity with the device sector and allowed him to understand the interaction between medical technology and patient care.
Dr. Zahos’ many professional affiliations include membership in the American Medical Association, the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, the North American Neuromodulation Society, and the North American Spine Society. A Fellow of the Florida Brain Tumor Association, Dr. Peter Zahos remains committed to first-class patient care and the advancement of neurosurgery.
