From his first days as a law student to the years he has spent as a preeminent Manhattan lawyer, Rahul Manchanda has never forgotten to give back to his colleagues and his profession. A conscientious teacher, Rahul Manchanda finds pleasure in sharing his experience with others while exercising an encouraging, positive influence over his peers and students. After several years studying biology and chemistry as an undergraduate at Boston University and Yale, Rahul Manchanda selected Pace University for his JD. Inspired by his own time at Pace, today Rahul Manchanda mentors students with the Law Mentor Program at Pace Law School. Rahul Manchanda enjoys introducing his mentees to new professional opportunities and broadening their horizons for personal growth. A seasoned veteran of international law, Rahul Manchanda teaches through Lawline.com, a continuing legal education program that allows him to connect with colleagues from all over the world. Manchanda’s work with Lawline emphasizes his commitment to education outside the classroom and his continuous pursuit of knowledge. Through Lawline, Rahul Manchanda lectures on immigration law and deportation and removal defense litigation. Rahul Manchanda also currently teaches immigration law at John Jay College of Criminal Justice at the City University of New York. In addition to managing his busy law practice and educating colleagues and students, Rahul Manchanda is routinely invited to speak at major international conferences and meetings. One such recent engagement was an event held at Hamline University in honor of the 60th Anniversary of the United Nations Declaration of Human Rights.
