As Founder, President, and Owner of McNicholas & Associates, Tom McNicholas maintains a vast array of professional affiliations, charitable activities, and personal interests. A marketing and advertising executive with more than 20 years of experience in the fields of media relations and broadcast journalism, Tom McNicholas fosters strong relationships in the Martin County, Florida, business community. President of the Palm City Chamber of Commerce, Tom McNicholas serves on the Board of Directors for both the Business Development Board of Martin County and the Economic Council of Martin County, where he promotes the continued expansion and growth of area businesses. In addition, Tom McNicholas performs numerous duties as Chair of the Martin County Land Acquisition Selection Committee, including assessing land for conservation and working with environmental organizations to ensure the coexistence of business and local ecosystems. With a strong commitment to the local ecology, Tom McNicholas helps keep watch over the survival of fragile wetlands and species diversity as a Board Member of the Treasure Coast Wildlife Center. Concerned about protecting the wildlife of his region, Tom McNicholas also served on the board of Audubon of Martin County, where he focused his efforts on the conservation of native birds. In his free time, Tom McNicholas stays active by playing golf, tennis, and basketball whenever possible. Tom McNicholas also enjoys spending time with his extended network of friends and family, with whom he regularly goes hiking, swimming, and canoeing. The local communities of Martin County have benefited from Tom McNicholas’ help and support for established youth mentoring programs and neighborhood cleanup endeavors. Tom McNicholas lives in Stuart, Florida, and works with individuals and businesses locally, statewide, and across the country.
