Throughout his career, trial lawyer Myron Cherry has maintained involvement in a vast array of professional, personal, academic, and community-based organizations. A graduate of both the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and the Northwestern University School of Law, Myron Cherry holds B.S. and L.L.B. degrees. As a result of his exemplary performance in law school, Myron Cherry became Editor of the Northwestern University Law Review and received an invitation to the Order of the Coif. To this day, Myron Cherry remains active with his alma mater and serves as an Adjunct Faculty for Trial Advocacy member at the Northwestern University School of Law. As founder of Chicago-based Myron M. Cherry & Associates, LLC, Myron Cherry operates one of the premiere boutique law firms in the nation, commanding a wide range of legal concentrations. Admitted to the Bar Associations of Illinois, California, Wisconsin, and the District of Columbia, Myron Cherry has practiced in numerous federal and state jurisdictions across the country, representing clients in high-profile commercial litigation cases and environmental lawsuits, among other types of cases. A member of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association and the Chicago Council of Lawyers, Myron Cherry served the American Bar Association on its Special Committee on Energy Law between 1975 and 1986. Appointed by President Bill Clinton to the Committee on Conscience for the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in 2001, Myron Cherry also served as Arbitrator to the International Centre for the Settlement of Investment Disputes under the former president. Active in national and local charities alike, Myron Cherry sits on the Board of Directors at Jobs for Youth, which provides essential employment training and placement for low-income individuals throughout the region. Myron Cherry also gives regularly to the Jewish United Fund / Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago. In his free time, Myron Cherry plays sports, exercises, and listens to classical music and jazz, and he is a longtime patron of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. An avid reader as well, Myron Cherry counts crime thriller novelist John Grisham among his favorite authors. Along with his wife Patricia, Myron Cherry lives in Lincolnwood, Illinois.
