Rikki Lynn Halavonich's current position as Forensic Psychiatrist at Lowcountry Forensic Psychiatry, LLC, is one in a long series of auspicious psychiatry tenures.
After graduating summa cum laude from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, Rikki Lynn Halavonich earned her M.D. from the University of Alabama School of Medicine. Due to her outstanding dedication to the subject, Rikki Lynn Halavonich was given the Senior Award for Excellence in Psychiatry as well as the Senior Award for Excellence in Pediatrics from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Rikki Lynn Halavonich became an intern at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in 2001. Over the next several years, Rikki Lynn Halavonich rose through MUSC's ranks, receiving residency at the university before going on to become Associate Fellowship Director of Forensic Psychiatry, Associate Department Director of the Forensic Psychiatry Division, and Department Director of the Forensic Psychiatry Division. In 2006 and 2007, Rikki Lynn Halavonich became board certified in psychiatry and forensic psychiatry, respectively.
Specializing in civil and criminal legal disputes, Rikki Lynn Halavonich has accumulated forensic experience in death penalty mitigation, competency to be executed, standard of care, fitness for duty, emotional harm and disability, criminal responsibility, and capacity to conform.
