Prominent researcher M. Jessie Barczak has worked throughout the East Coast supporting various sectors of the United States Government. Most recently, M. Jessie Barczak served as a Journalist and Archivist, researching and encoding information for the military-affiliated company Jacobs Technology, serving the Special Operations Command PsyOp Branch. Over the course of her career, M. Jessie Barczak has become an expert in creating enterprise taxonomies, structured archives of information for clients in the military and other industries. M. Jessie Barczak previously worked for CherryRoad Technologies, where she developed systems of organization for the company's Army Knowledge Online portal. At CherryRoad Technologies, M. Jessie Barczak ensured compliance with U.S. Department of Defense metadata standards and directives. In addition to her work with CherryRoad Technologies and Jacobs Technology, M. Jessie Barczak has also served as a researcher and journalist for Head Start of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and as a law librarian for Washington, D.C. companies Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice, PLLC and Stanley Associates (now CGI Group Inc). Currently, M. Jessie Barczak utilizes her knowledge of the military and her skill as a journalist to publish articles on Examiner.com and maintain a blog for 21centurypower.com. M. Jessie Barczak also regularly volunteers with the Hillsborough County Public Library Cooperative. Prior to launching her career, M. Jessie Barczak obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism from George Washington University and a Master of Science in Library and Information Science from Columbia University.
