Nathan Thurman with Thurman & Associates, Inc., a wealth management firm he established in 2007. As an independent financial planner for the Coeur d Alene based firm, Nathan Thurman assists clients plan their financial futures through portfolio building, retirement plan selection, pension creation, and life insurance strategizing. The Chief Executive Officer from Coeur d'Alene initiated his career in financial services via a position with a top 50 planner, where he acted as a Portfolio Manager. Nathan Thurman improved closing ratios for this firm from 50 percent to 90 percent in three months of employment. Nathan Thurman transitioned to Consultancy to Financial Firms, where he functioned as a Project Planner, employed hundreds of professionals to the financial industry and held numerous management level positions. Prior to opening his company in Coeur d'Alene, Nathan Thurman worked as a Financial Service Professional for New York Life Insurance Company, managing two offices in Colorado. During his tenure with New York Life, Nathan Thurman acquired certification as a Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow and was in the top 3 percent of case writers. An active member of the Coeur d'Alene community, Nathan Thurman belongs to the Chamber of Commerce and a local church. Nathan Thurman founded and served on the board in a multitude of positions for the Coeur d’Alene Referral Masters. He is a member of Business Network International. Nathan Thurman supports the local Coeur d'Alene food bank and enjoys traveling occasionally. Before he moved to Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, Nathan Thurman attended the University of Alaska Anchorage, where he studied Computer Science.
