Cathy Ehorn has spent almost 25 years with the Glenn County Department of Finance, where she currently holds the position of Supervising Accountant. Cathy Ehorn’s many duties include the development of budgets and the monitoring of appropriations and requests; she is also engaged in selecting and implementing appropriate automation solutions for the department. A valued resource for colleagues and the public, Cathy Ehorn fields accounting and budget inquiries. Other highlights from Cathy Ehorn’s career with the Glenn County Department of Finance include her work as an Accountant III, preparing a countywide cost allocation plan for cost recovery and reimbursement. In that role, Cathy Ehorn compiled the annual report of county financial transactions for the State Controller. Previously, Cathy Ehorn was an Automated Accounting System Administrator/Analyst; she has also acted as an Accounting Technician and as an Accounting Clerk I, II, and III with the Glenn County Department of Finance. Cathy Ehorn earned her Associate of Science in Business from Butte College, where she graduated with honors. Cathy Ehorn also completed a certificate program in Computer Science at the University of California, Davis, where she studied topics from C+ language to structured programming. Dedicated to her studies, Cathy Ehorn commuted more than 100 miles to campus at night while working full time during the day. Dedicated to the well-being and safety of her community in Willows, California, Cathy Ehorn acts as a First Responder and Dispatcher with the Willows Volunteer Fire Department. Cathy Ehorn is a Lifetime Member of the Girl Scouts of the United States of America and the recipient of its Gold Award; she contributes to organizations such as Relay For Life and the National Disaster Search Dog Foundation.
