| As the Director of Neuropsychological and Family Therapy Associates, a medical practice that assesses, diagnoses, and treats children with severe psychological, behavioral, and emotional problems, Dr. Ronald Federici utilizes his 20 years of medical expertise to manage the activities of the organization. Dr. Federici is a board-certified Developmental Neuropsychologist and specializes in Pediatric and Adolescent treatment. Dr. Federici is very highly regarded in the national and international medical community and is considered the United States’ top expert in the neuropsychological evaluation and treatment of adopted children who have multi-sensory neurodevelopmental impairments. Dr. Ronald Federici has published many articles and numerous books in his areas of expertise. His book, “Help for the Hopeless Child: A Guide for Families,” dedicated a special section to the assessment and treatment of post-institutionalized children. His published articles also include “The Neuropsychology of Bonding and Attachment Disorders” and “Raising the Post-Institutionalized Child – Risks, Challenges and Innovative Treatment.” In addition to his duties at Neuropsychological and Family Therapy Associates, Dr. Ronald Federici is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Care For Children International, Inc., a charity devoted to bringing about fundamental changes in the childcare crisis that countries in Eastern Europe and Southeast Asia currently face. Working with both governmental agencies and other international charities, Care For Children International continually works to improve the lives of millions of impoverished and neglected children. Dr. Ronald Federici is an esteemed member of a number of organizations for medical professionals. He is currently a Fellow in the American College of Professional Neuropsychology and a Diplomate of both the American Board of Disability Analysts and the Board of Medical Psychotherapists.
